Sam and Sav

My lovely friend’s Sam and Sav married in October in the most wonderful little venue in South East London, Asylum Chapel. I very rarely get a chance to make flowers for friends, mainly because we are all so old and already married.

My design took inspiration from the location itself picking up the muted colours and soft shades on the walls of the chapel. My most favourite thing to make was Sam’s little headpiece of Snowberries and Astrantia, pinned to the top of her veil. In fact, I think I might have shed a tear when the bridal procession walked down the aisle all beautiful and serene with their etherial flower crowns. So pretty.
