Some of you may know I also work as a food stylist and home economist for various production companies. Last week I had a great time styling for a commercial for England woman RFU. They wanted a rose which matched the logo for English Rugby. After many phone calls and visits to garden centres I found the perfect match at Spring Reach Nursery.
Ruby Anniversary Rosa could have been the inspiration for the logo. I spent a day creating for camera, a rose growing over 16 years. I now have another official title of Rose Wrangler.

This wedding made me smile. It was simple and pretty. Nafiseh’s bouquet was filled with soft David Austin garden roses and pale and pink stock. They held their reception on a boat departing from Butlers Wharf. We delivered simple chop square arrangements filled with sweet peas, garden roses, and astilbe.

I met Tristan at my local beauty salon. He told me he was getting married, I told him I’m a florist the rest is history! I met them both a few weeks later to discuss their flower wish list. They were both happy to let me use my choice of flowers. The only brief really was the colour scheme, purple and ivory. Tristan also asked me to make two dramatic displays for the pedestals in the ceremony room. I used ivory roses with purple allium and blue delphinium. It was indeed dramatic. The wedding ceremony and reception was held at The Town Hall Bethnal Green.
I thought a really lovely touch to the wedding was giving all the guests a small ribbon bow of Kerr ribbon. As a gesture to remember Neil’s father who had recently passed away. I pinned the ribbon on all the guests as they arrived and It was so lovely to meet everyone.
